Our story
How we started
Leona Foundation was established in 2014 as a grassroots organisation in Kenya, rooted in the belief that lasting transformation begins when marginalized voices are empowered to lead change in their own communities.
Over the years, Leona Foundation has been implementing community-led and community-focused projects cross-cutting climate action, mental health, gender justice, and social economic empowerment.
